HOW IT ALL STARTED
Our company was started in 2009 by Jackie Fahr and Nancy Grunley. Over the years, they were awarded "Best of Bethesda" seven times and served thousands of pets.
In 2023, they decided to sell the business to Jackie’s son, Dave Peterson and are now enjoying retirement, while being able to see their legacy of quality and care continue on.

I've been walking dogs for most of my life. My childhood was filled with visiting different shelters and breeders, watching the Westminster dog show, and learning all of the particular idiosyncrasies of different breeds from the hundreds of dog books we had in our home.
I graduated Walt Whitman High School in 2003, and started working for Bethesda Dog Walkers the following summer. When the opportunity came up to step in and run the company, I relocated my family to jump at the chance. We are here to serve you and your pets, and we're having a ball doing it!

Maritza
Dog Walker
Maritza is an energetic stay at home mother with two great big dogs of her own! Like most of our staff she can think of nothing better than to be out walking dogs while her kids are at school. She is also an avid exerciser.

Dog Walker
Noah is a young man with a big heart. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and worked for many years during the school year in Spain, teaching English to students in rural communities and doing volunteer work at animal shelters.
Sarah
Team Lead
As a pet parent herself, Sarah knows that the details matter. She treats every pet as if it was her own, and makes sure that she is taking care of their physical and emotional well-being. When your pet is with her, they are in good hands.
